The City of Omaha, MECA, and our partners, invite you to enjoy the First Annual Women in Engineering Day celebration in Omaha with us!
This event will feature: - A Mayoral Proclamation in honor of International Women in Engineering Day. - Food trucks. - Raffle prizes for 6 gift baskets. - A speakers panel, moderated by Silva Raker (inaugural CEO of the Kiewit Luminarium), of women in the field of engineering, from college students to seasoned professionals, will discuss the successes and challenges they have encountered in their careers. - Six engineering firms on site to provide information and engineering related activities for all ages. - Information about internships, employment opportunities, and career pathways can be found on site. - Live DJ and more!
